Orthopaedic & Spine Care

Accident injuries can vary from a life threatening spinal cord injury to an uncomfortable sprain or broken bone. Even though they are not often life threatening, orthopaedic injuries are still scary and painful, and often result in a loss of functionality that effects your quality of life and ability to work. With many tools at their disposal, an orthopaedic surgeon can decide on the least invasive treatment method to treat an injury or medical condition. From head to your toe, we treat muscular-skeletal conditions - and most bone and joint disorders - with the most effective orthopaedic techniques available today.

Pain Management

Car accidents lead to injury, and aside from the loss of function, the major issue from these injuries is pain. "Pain management" is the medical specialty born out of the need for treating all types of pain. With an early and accurate diagnosis and immediate intervention, we hope to prevent accident injuries from developing into state of chronic, life-long pain.  At the very least, we hope to reduce the severity of pain, and improve your quality of life and ability to work. Properly used medications and minimally invasive procedures are most often used to achieve those goals.

At Broward Outpatient Medical Center, our approach to treatment is rooted in this simple philosophy: treat both the symptoms and the problem. While medications and other pain management can help reduce the pain, these methods do not treat the underlying cause of pain - this means the underlying issue is still there. Chiropractic care is an effective treatment technique for car accident injuries because it allows us to realign your body to fix the problem - therefore we treat both the underlying issue and the pain.

Advanced Diagnostics

Accidents can result in a wide variety of injuries, many of which are not immediately apparent.  For this reason, it is important to have an experienced Accident Injury Specialist - like Broward Outpatient Medical Center's specialists - diagnose your injuries.  We see accidents every day, and are familiar with the symptoms of a variety of injuries, allowing us to quickly diagnose what is ailing you, and get treatment started immediately.  Unlike nearly every other accident injury provider, we have both our advanced diagnostic equipment and our specialists all under one roof.  This ensures that as an accident victim,  you won't be driving all over town to get examined, and it helps make sure you stay within the mandatory 14 day period under PIP law.

Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Physical therapy is the primary method for repair and strengthening of damaged tissue and for avoiding excessive dysfunction. The physical therapy specialist at Broward Outpatient Medical Center have training and over 20 years experience on how to treat these types of injuries.  For muscles, joints, and neurology, results of whiplash rehabilitation are best when the rehabilitation starts within a week or two of the injury - but even patients who have suffered with symptoms for a long time can make progress with proper application of our rehabilitation techniques.

Podiatric Care

Accidents can lead to a variety of foot and ankle injuries that dramatically effect your quality of life and ability to work.  The ability to move properly and without pain is an important part of day to day life.  Our podiatry specialists make sure that you are "back on your feet" as soon as possible.
